Endodontic Microscope: The use of
this tool enables Dr. Scherer to perform treatment
with greater accuracy because the treatment area is
magnified – periodontal fibers and ligaments
are illuminated and fractures or root defects can
be seen. Attached to our microscope is an intra-oral
camera. This high-powered camera allows Dr. Scherer
to quickly and precisely photograph the inside of
your mouth. The photographic image is magnified
and projected onto a monitor which gives you the ability
to participate in your treatment.
Digital X-ray: This allows us to
use the latest technology to better diagnose your
tooth’s health, while greatly minimizing the
amount of x-ray exposure you may have to experience.
Not only are you saved from the x-ray exposure, the
image of your x-ray is displayed on a screen in front
of you and you are better able to understand where
the problem is and why treatment might be recommended.
